Hi Ron,
My main biblio page was taking a _very_ long time (average: 26s!) to load the results (2722 items, 25 per page). After altering the index structure of the biblio table, I got a loading time between 1 and 2 secondes, which I believe is ok. Here's my suggestion:

ALTER TABLE `biblio` DROP PRIMARY KEY;
ALTER TABLE `biblio` ADD PRIMARY KEY (`nid`);
ALTER TABLE `biblio` ADD INDEX (`vid`);

Actually I don't think that will work if you use revisions since it is vid that is unique rather then nid. A better approach might be this...

ALTER TABLE `biblio` DROP PRIMARY KEY;
ALTER TABLE `biblio` ADD PRIMARY KEY (`vid`);
ALTER TABLE `biblio` ADD KEY nid (`nid`);

By the way... 2722 entries!!!! Quite impressive! Could you email me the URL, I'd like to see.
