I changed my site name in Administer->Site configuration->Site information and the new site name displays correctly in the browser title bar for every page except the front page, which still displays the old site name. This does not occur in any other theme, including Zen and Zen sub-themes. Any idea what the problem would be and how I can fix it? Thanks~

Anonymous (not verified) CreditAttribution: Anonymous commentedI found that the title of the front page is what gets put in the browser title bar for the front page.
The theme made no difference in my case, nor did the Site information setting.

Yes, that is Drupal behaviour. The page or node title also shows in the browser title bar, usually followed by the site name.
I think the original poster was talking about the site name.
Yes, it is a core setting, not related to the theme.

I kept searching in Configuration > System > Site information but to no avail.
The solution was changing the title of the front page itself.

Thanks
