When I tried to use the scheduler it says that I need to have the ad in "approved state".
Well, the ad shows on the site in approved, even though it is not marked as active.

I have tried both image and flash ads and encounter the same problem. The ad shows with or without using the scheduler in "approved" state.

Active, Approved, Offline: shows the ad.
Expired, Pending, Denied: does not show the ad.

(I could not find any issue for this matter).

I am having a similar problem where Ads that are inactive are still being shown on the site. We turned on caching such as the Block cache on the performance page, the file cache in the Ads settings, and the boost module. After doing that the old inactive Ads starting appearing. Haven't narrowed the issue down to any one setting yet.

Edit:

The problem is with either the Block cache (Performance page) or the File cache (Ads settings).

Version: 6.x-2.2 » 6.x-2.4

definitely having this problem as well. did not have it in 5.x.

I turned off ad cache and it went away. This is ok for our site which is not ad-heavy, but may be a problem for sites serving a bunch.

Same problem (in 6.x-2.4)! Post #4 works for me too -> turning off "ad file cache". But we need the cache because of a heavy traffic site. A solution would be great.

What can be done to fix this issue? The problem still exists. I'm not a developer but I would help to test a possible solution. It is very annoying that ad_cache and schedule can't be used together.

Is there any workaround?
