Here's how to reproduce the bug:
1. Click login button for the Fancy login popup to appear
2. Click "Request New Password"... the form switches fine
3. Click "Login" to go back to login form. The login form appears fine, and a "#" is added to the url
4. Close the fancy login popup without entering anything
5. Click again to open the Fancy Login popup (the "#" is still at the end of the url).
BUG: The form background is now transparent, AND when you click "Request New Password" the form is stuck with just the spinning 'wait'.

To also produce a transparent login box:
Click login for the popup to appear, then click anywhere outside the box without entering anything. Then click to re-open the login box... it will have a transparent background.

I've dropped support for version 6.x-1.x in favor of 6.x-2.x, which is a backport of 7.x-3.x, rather than an upgrade of 6.x-1.x. I believe issues like this are fixed in the new version, particularly as the request password form now is part of the popup. If you are still seeing this issue, please re-open and set the version to 6.x-2.x.
