I am having a problem to connect the individual node page to related menu items: display node full view page in the current theme (keep in the same menu level). For example: I have a node under menu News. The first page is a view listing all news items, it is under: home->news. But when I click on the node title which is linking to the node full view page, the secondary menu disappears, and the node full page is under: home.
some suggest to use Pathauto and configuring the menu block would solve this issue, like set up path for node: website.com/news/title-of-news-item, then set the menu block to appear on all the */news/* pages.
My problem is that I didn't create content type for each category. I use only one content type "article" for most of my categories: news, administration, resources, etc. In this case, how do I add the category term (taxonomy terms, here for example: News) into my article path pattern? So it would look like /news/[node:title].
The taxonomy term tokens are not available for the content path setup (replacement patterns).

dave reidYou should have access to basic field tokens if you upgrade to Token 7.x-1.0-beta5.
