I upgraded to views-7.x-3.x-dev dated 18 March 2011 and then to dev dated 19 march 2011. In both these cases all the view display page on my site have disappeared (the data the fields, tables etc) and upon visiting views menu path it just shows requested page could not be found. When I I click admin/structure/views there is a white screen of death. I tried to clear the cache and had the following error displayed:
The plugin definition of views_ui cannot locate schema views_view.
Essentially it is all broken.

fubhy commentedUpdate to lates CTools too, clear the cache of your website and it should work.
dawehnerAnd update status.

recidive commentedSame problem here, the error appear twice when cleaning the cache with drush after upgrading to latest views and ctools:
Views 7.x-3.x-dev (2011-Mar-22)
Chaos tool suite 7.x-1.x-dev (2011-Mar-18)
Cleaning the cache through performance page works though. And after cleaning the cache drush stops displaying the errors, so everything is ok.

j2parker commentedUpdating via drush pm-update fails (Drush v3.3)
Executing drush pm-update was successful the second time after running
drush cc all

berenddeboer commentedIndeed, you need to clear the cache a couple of times before it works.
mgiffordI had to do this a couple times with 7.x-3.0-beta3
Was rather surprised that I'd need to do this with an upgrade. Could the clear cache (especially if it needs to be called multiple times) be hard coded into an upgrade?
