Are there plans to transition this module to support Drupal 7? it's one of the modules I've been happily using with Drupal 6. A new version would allow updating several sites to Drupal 7. I'm happy to help if needs be.

Definitely. In the coming 2 weeks I plan to wrap up the bugs in the 6.x branch and then start the 7.x branch. Does this work for you?

I have been beating my head on #899508: l() function - Unsupported operand types in common.inc, for now I will leave it and port the code to d7. Look for a dev release over the weekend.
