I get this:

Access denied
You are not authorized to access this page.

Despite being logged in as user #1 and in addition, having all the necessary permissions for the forum. Upon disabling the forum access module, everything is back to normal and I can get in. Note that the topics accessed via latest content menu item are accessible.

This is now fixed in Forum Access 1.4.
