Perhaps there is a better place to ask this but I don't know it; Is there a place where I can find a current report on the code coverage for D7 core? + contrib?

I've done the relevant google searches and clicked around on qa.d.o but can't seem to find anything more current than 2009

Not currently, but as I have just pushed a bunch of commits that were developed for ReviewDriven the module is now polished for use with qa.d.o and integrated with new system (conduit). My next steps will be to get the conduit system up somewhere public (on d.o infra) and have it demo everything including coverage.

There is now a DrupalCI Meta issue for this #2622922: [meta] Code coverage so I'm gonna close this issue since it is outdated and doesn't really belong in this module anymore.
