Here's the placeholder field for file downloads that has been running on d.o for a while.

d.o specific update notes:
alter table project_release_file drop column downloads;
run updates
build the util_parse_awstatsdata job in jenkins. (To repopulate the downloads column)

Looks great. However, for a handful of various evil reasons, I can't really commit/deploy this until after the Git migration is live. Don't ask. I'll deal with this after that.
