I care very much about the stability and future of the Feeds module. I'm using it to develop the Planet install profile with a contrib module for feed moderation. I'd like to be able to casually review issues in the queue and help provide fixes to bugs. I may get more involved with the direction of the module, but I'd like to just get a start helping maintain since I feel like I could help.

febbraro CreditAttribution: febbraro commentedHey Dave, sorry about the delay we're getting our feet under us as a result of the OA/MN migration.
Feeds will definitely be actively maintained, and we are in the process of organizing our team around working on this issue queue. We have a few folks slated to start this week and they will be starting with D7 issues with patches that are RTBC and Needs Review.
Feel free to get with me in IRC or via my contact tab if there are some patches are are particularly hot on your list so we know what they are.

Dave ReidThanks Frank. Mostly I'm looking to help with smaller patches like http://drupal.org/project/issues/search/feeds?text=&assigned=&submitted=... since I'm working on a 'Planet' install profile based primarily on Feeds.

TimelessDomain CreditAttribution: TimelessDomain commentedfeeds should expand the # of maintainers. feedapi for d6 is far more advanced than the feeds module (its supposed successor). Since a lot of D7 sites are being launched now it is important to get feeds progressing quicker. Dave Reid is an ideal choice to expand the team. LOOK AT HOW MANY PROJECTS HE HAS CONTRIBUTED TO https://drupal.org/user/53892 !
oops i see that this is fixed now. good choice. Thanks Dave!

Dave ReidGlad to hear there will be more people on issues, but I can help with smaller issues that I'm helping patch in the meantime if you'd like. Until then, won't fix is the more appropriate status here.
Dave ReidI'd like to re-open this for consideration. There still hasn't been any progress on Feeds issues.

Dave ReidI would rather not take over maintainership of this module as I know that phase2 intends to maintain this in the long term, but I just want to help ease the issue queue in the meantime.

febbraro CreditAttribution: febbraro commentedHey Dave,
Sorry for the delay. I've added you as a maintainer, please coordinate with me & my team if you plan any release, etc. Were you planning D6 or D7 work? All of that said, we committed patches as recent as 7 weeks ago, tough to say that module is going unmaintained, we are glad to have the help though.
Thanks,
Frank

Dave Reid@febbraro: Thank you. Mostly I wanted to help work on small patches and bugs in the D7 version since that's where most of my work with the module comes from, but I'm not opposed to helping review D6 patches as well.
