Please set patches to 'needs review' for higher priority reviews.

Please don't delete random whitespace unrelated to the bug in a patch.

It looks like this problem exists in D6 as well, so committing to both.

Finally, the title that it's about a notice I think undermines the severity of this bug. It was actually not sending a valid value, meaning all exports using this would simply fail to work right. :/

Committed and pushed upstream in D6 and D7.
