Sorry guys if this is one that has been around before. I am new to Drupal and learning how it is navigated on the back end is relatively easy. However, upon installation of the Marinelli theme I wanted to change the banners that are rotating by default. This is what I am stuck with. I was searching through the forums for other posts on the same issue without success.

In the documentation for Marinelli there is mention of an image uploader, this I cannot find anywhere.

Your assistance is gratefully received.

Thanks

Ian

I have still had no luck in finding how to edit the banners. In the documentation it talks about v7 and not version 6. There is no link for images that I can find. I am stuck. If I can't find the answer I'll have to go back to installing Joomla where I can easily edit images.

Any help is gratefully received.

Hello,
I hope my answer proves helpful to you,
For e.g. if the custom theme name is my_theme
To add new banners or to edit them please go to my_theme/img/banners/ and add new banner images in it or remove the unwanted images.

Thanks.

does anyone know how to change the size of the banners? I want to change the height but I am having no luck. It seems to just stretch them out. I want all banners the same height (if that makes any difference)

Drupal V7

Hi Ian,

The images that make up the banner are in the sites/all/themes/marinelli/img/banners/ folder.

(the jpg files you will find in that folder are called: avaro, lud, praga, roger, vincent, zematt)

If you delete those files from the banner server, they will be removed from the rotation.

Then you can just upload the files that you want to appear in the banner to the sites/all/themes/marinelli/img/banners/ folder. Make sure the images you upload are 900x200 (the same size as the ones you deleted).

Cheers!
