this bug doesn't appear to exist in HEAD, only 4.7.x, so i couldn't test it on s.d.o.
so, i just installed on d.o and it seems to be fine.

moshe confirmed this fixed what he saw on d.o. committed to DRUPAL-4-7, DRUPAL-4-7--2, and HEAD (for good measure). ;)
