I maintain a Drupal site for a school in a Big 10 U and we just started using Biblio. One of our academic faculty pointed out that it would be very useful to have it SAVE the PubMed ID # as part of the record (like it does with DOI), so that it wouldn't have to be manually inputted into the "Other number" field, with the "PMID:" heading added each time. A lot of faculty members publish this # on their CVs and would like it to be part of the downloadable citation, also.

If I knew how to do it myself, I would!

Actually, with 6.x-2.x, the PMID's are saved, they are just not visible :-) (other than the "PubMed" link at the bottom of the entry).

I could add the PMID to the tabular output, but it might be kind of redundant to have two PubMed links in the display. I guess you would really like to have the PMID visible?

Wow, you are fast. That's the preference... maybe having the ability to make the field visible & downloadable in citations could be an option in your next release if others think it would be useful?

We love Biblio, btw. It's making it very easy to showcase our department's publications, and I love being able to combine it with insert view to filter & drop the content into various pages. Your work is greatly appreciated.

This appears to have been changed already. PubMed ID appears with the latest code.
