Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
So I really like the way that D7 updates the modules. Makes it so you don't have to download a bunch of files just to FTP them back up. However, this particular module update wipes out the /ckeditor folder and I imagine will wipe out the /ckfinder folder if I was using that (in this instance I am not). Is there a way, in the updates, for the module to NOT remove a certain sub folders?

markie CreditAttribution: markie commentedI suggest closing this. Since I've requested this I have realized that we can place the ckeditor code into the sites/all/libraries folder and that would prevent updates from wiping out that folder. And boy does my title not match my description.. Sorry.
