Hi,
We need to allow the mime mail module handle html emails.
Right now, signup confirmation is displaying the css tags
when you include [field_date-view] token you get

24 2011 - 4:00pm class="date-display-separator"> -
class="date-display-end">6:00pm

This issue has been resolved for the 6.1 branch http://drupal.org/node/134736
We need it fixed here too.

The 6.x-2.x branch is pretty unmtained at this point. I'm tempted to mark this won't fix based on that.

Definitely the priority is not "critical."
