would be nice if
taxonomy/vocabulary/2+1 could be option for rename on within taxonomy_list just after one sets a list
- a la 'path alias' / 'custom url'

Have you tried the path.module (url aliases)?

I'd like to suppose that this request can be fulfilled with the alias.module, then close it. If anyone has the other idea, please feel free to raise the new one.
