Are there plans to update this module for Drupal 7.x?

Ha. I was just thinking about this this morning. Yes, when we start rolling out D7 sites we will definitely update this module.

I seem to have successfully created a D7 port, but I can't test it at the moment. Minor changes include moving the menu items to a more appropriate location. If anyone wants to try testing my copy, reply here.

jtwalters, I'd love to test it. You can just email it to me if you want. I'm trying to compile pubcookie to work with MacPorts Apache at the moment, so I can actually do pubcookie development on my own box.

Released 7.x-1.0-beta1. Please try it out. The LDAP population stuff works with the profile module (which is hidden in Drupal 7 unless you did an upgrade from Drupal 6) but not with fields.
