Automated Functional Acceptance Testing Features
Setup The Rightup Locally with:
The Drupal CMS installer with DDEV
mkdir ~/workspace/projects/my-drupal-site-rightup && cd ~/workspace/projects/my-drupal-site-rightup
ddev config --project-type=drupal11 --docroot=web
ddev composer create-project drupal/cms
ddev launch
Then choose The Rightup on the installer's site template step.
Known install issue: Composer blocks every enshrined/svg-sanitize 0.x since the 8 October 2026 security advisories, and drupal/svg_image 3.x (required through Varbase Media Base) does not allow 1.0 yet. Until it does, run ddev composer require "enshrined/svg-sanitize:1.0.0 as 0.22.1" --no-update right after ddev composer create-project drupal/cms, as above. Do the same before picking The Rightup in the Drupal CMS installer.
Highlighted important changes
- fix: #3629384 The Rightup installs on Drupal CMS 2.2.3 and later again: it no longer requires the drupal_cms_admin_ui, drupal_cms_media and drupal_cms_privacy_basic recipes that Drupal CMS 2.2 removed, and editors land on the Varbase welcome dashboard.
- Installs with Varbase Admin Base 1.0.4, Varbase Content Base 1.0.3, Varbase Editor Base 1.0.1, Varbase Media Base 1.0.2, Varbase Security Base 1.0.1 and Varbase Page Base 1.0.1, which now carry what those recipes provided.
Changed
- test: #3629384 Cover the Varbase welcome dashboard in the Varbase functional testing suite.
- ci: #3629384 Alias
enshrined/svg-sanitize1.0.0 as 0.22.1 and answer the Drupal CMS telemetry prompt in the CI build only. The recipe itself is not constrained.
Fixes
- fix: #3629384 Stop requiring the removed drupal_cms recipes so The Rightup installs on Drupal CMS 2.2.3 and later, and give it the Varbase welcome dashboard.
