Problem/Motivation

Since the annotation class is no longer used by the module, and since the sub-modules in the Example for Developers project do not need to implement changes in a backward-compatible way, the annotation class can be removed.

Proposed resolution

Remove the annotation class implemented by the plugin_type_example module.
