Problem/Motivation

Especially when having nested paragraphs there is a chance that the paragraph behaviors sit on parent which cannot be used inside UI Patterns.

Proposed resolution

Provide a new Parent Paragraphs Behavior source that has access to the parent's behaviors.

Hi Yannick,
Thank you for this very interesting feature.

For now, I have two thoughts:

  1. You might want to wait until #3527092: Storage key of Paragraph behavior should not come from default configuration keys is done so the new plugin could extends the base one and build upon the existing settings
  2. It could also be interesting to go a bit further by talking about "Ancestors" instead of "Parent" because paragraphs nesting is sometimes a bit deep. Once configured, it could then get up the parents tree until it finds the configured behavior instead of stopping on the parent.

Also, one nitpick: the composer.json change is not useful in the scope of this issue. It will probably be necessary in #3519943: Plug GitlabCI and add tests once I start working on it.
