berdirLooking forward to having an official maintainer again, the translation/language systems have been pretty stale for a long time.
While I prefer to not take on more official maintainer roles in core, I'll try to support you and have various issues I'd like to move forward and get finalized.

dww+1! Heartily agree that @penyaskito is a joy to collaborate with, extremely knowledgable about this subsystem, and very kind. We're lucky to have them volunteer for the role!
