We had a client request to log and perform other tasks on email validation errors and realized there was no way of doing so without patching. So here it is :)

Not bad, thanks, appreciate the patch.
I think if we invoke hooks we'll do it in the AdvancedEmailValidator service rather than all the implementations of it in various plugins though.
