Support for nested paragraphs translation

Problem/Motivation

First off, thanks for this module, much appreciated!
It seems to do its job on most fields that are configured to be manually translatable, including e.g. a field I called text_editor, directly in a top level paragraph.
However, if I place the same text_editor field in another paragraph, e.g. accordion, it is still manually translatable (so I think my translation config is OK), but auto_translation does not seem to work for it.

Steps to reproduce

Create a paragraph that references another paragraph with a translatable text field in it.
Create sample content.
Content can indeed be translated manually.
auto_translation will no pick up the nested field.

Is there something configuration-wise I can do/should not do to make this work?

If this is unsupported, I'd like to convert this to a feature request as it will help sites heavily relying on paragraphs as well.
