• #2569165: Improve security of session ID against DB exposure or SQL injection
• Fixes a bug introduced in 8.x-1.5 for #3349484: PL token won't start new session if old session expired from DB

Proposed resolution

• Change drupal/persistent_login to 1.6.0 in the compsoer.json file
• Keep needed patches for:
  • #2899530: Provide a permission for users to see "Persistent Logins" tab in their profiles
