Apply the latest patch that made it better. I have already tried with the patch and tested it is now being compatible with the current version, Please Provide feedback about how the testing went. If you can improve the patch, post an updated patch here.

Updating the patch for make it compatible with the Drupal 10. I have install the module its working alright. Please review the patch and please suggest if changes need to be observed.

@sahil.goyal thanks. I applied the patch and removed the "core: 8.x" instead of commenting it out. This is available in the 8.x-1.6 release
