The Drupal Core Mentoring Coordinators are delighted to invite Brian Gilbert (realityloop) to the list of full Mentoring Coordinators, listed in MAINTAINERS.txt
We have discussed the responsibilities of the role and seen all the work Brian has been doing in his provisional role to further the work of the Core Mentoring team.
The task we follow to add Mentoring Coordinators is documented in the Contributor Guide, at https://www.drupal.org/community/contributor-guide/task/recruit-new-ment...

Gábor HojtsySorry this takes so long, its not intentional and not personal. There were so many code freezes on various branches for things and this should land in various branches ideally at once so it does not get half-done and half-forgotten later.
Mentoring coordinators do not have a defined appointment process in the governance which also elongated the discussion a bit. @xjm made a good point that if we consider it like any other subsystem, we should make sure all other "subsystem maintainers" signed off on it. Can we get signoff from the mentor coordinators? (A copy of meeting notes is also fine where they signed off :)

rachel_norfolkOn 30th June 2021, the current core mentoring coordinators discussed making this change and approved.

Gábor HojtsyCongrats and thanks, commited!
While the other two promotions did not inclue alphabetic ordering (by last name), this one did, so that reminded me to make the other two promoted folks appear in alphabetical order. Fixed that on commit.
