With the core oEmbed video media type you can use the media library and add new remote videos.

Using this oEmbed audio project I cannot add audios with media library.

I think this is just a missing feature; media source plugins need to specifically opt into the ability to be added via the media library, and it seems our oembed:audio plugin forgot to do that. Self-assigning to fix.
