How is kb being integrated? I was going to use it to create a file browsing feature for my site but saw that it is integrated with this module.

Issue summary: View changes

The main idea behind KB was to set up "KB Groups" that had content and categories, and most of this functionality is duplicated as courses for KB groups, course modules as categories, and course content as content. The one feature I haven't ported over was the table with search fields.

Inside of flashpoint_course I do have an annotation plugin, CourseContentRenderer, that produces a render array which produces the course's main page. One thing I could do is throw in a field where someone selects the render plugin they want to use for a course, and if they pick "searchable table/KnowledgeBase" it would largely reproduce the same kind of table that KB makes. Also, once that feature is in place, on the Flashpoint settings page I could give an option for a site builder to create and use a different view. Would that work?

OK, I've uploaded a change. In 8.x-1.0-alpha26, you will need to use config_update to import a anew field for Flashpoint courses, which lets you choose a course renderer. If flashpoint_course_module is enabled, you will also need to use the config_update module to import a view, which is the table-based course. This will render a table that is in the same vein as KB, with content and categories.

If we want to make the table fancier, add taxonomy terms, etc., this will need to be in a separate module. However, in terms of reproducing the table, we are able to do that as of alpha26.

For the larger application, admins may now select a global course renderer, and override on a per-course basis. This allows full use of the course renderer plugins.

If you could, please test the upgrade.
