The attached patch contains work that I did integrating SFDC and Commerce using this module. I took my working code and adapted it to the salesforce_example module in the hopes that what I did will make things more clear for those that come behind. There is some understanding required of Commerce objects but I added commenting to try to explain this and to make clear how I'm using the salesforce module to manage Product and Product Variations successfully.

The patch has been rolled against the latest dev version.
