Editing Node creation page title doesn't alter display

I'm trying to override the standard "Create " string when creating a new node.

I've installed CSM and tested out both the Submit message settings and Node creation page title for a custom content type. The submit message settings works fine, but when I change the Node creation page title, nothing changes. I've tried:

<none>
Register your [node:content-type:name]
Register your game night

I've also cleared my cache. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?
