Filter by same terms as page being shown not working in Drupal 6

Hi,

I just installed this module today (hallelujah, because I was at my wit's end trying to code something like this myself!) and I love its possibilities, but I'm having a problem that is similar but apparently not identical to some previous bug reports:

I selected "Filtered Content" and then selected "use the [vocabulary x] terms of the page being shown" box under "[vocabulary x] terms filter options." It looks fine when I save and then look at it again; only that box is checked. However, it's not actually filtering. If I go to a node to try it out, it displays all the forum posts (I filtered by that content type as well), whether or not they have the same term as the current node. Even posts that aren't tagged with any terms in that vocabulary show up.
