Will not generate automatic node titles when using mass import

In my site I'm using the "auto_nodetitle", "token" and the "quotes" modules. I go to the "content type" "quotes" and add auto_nodetitle settings to it, using some tokens.

Then if I add a quote manually, it will generate the required node title: http://www.parroter.com/?q=node/1

If you check other quotes on my site they will just show the title "ant". That suggests that the mass import module isn't using the appropriate call backs upon node creation.
