Taskbar already supports import/export in #1219898: Import/Export feature for taskbar item. Now it's time for Features integration.

Maybe, we'll add this in 2.x branches with CTools integration.

Just committed a patch for 6.x (http://drupalcode.org/project/taskbar.git/commit/8f8462a) and 7.x (http://drupalcode.org/project/taskbar.git/commit/f5fb227, just a straight port, did not test). Features create/update/revert work, but there is a bug: item provider is lost in the item settings page.
