Coder module highlighted a few areas which need addressing, like strings not being run through t(), needed calls to filtering functions, and some style issues. The attached patch corrects those issues.

Hi Barrett,

Thank you for taking the time to check with Coder and report your changes.

In regard to the title, I made some changes since by default only administrators can edit the title so I avoid the filtering in that case.
