System Emails are empty after activating mailsystem and using DefaultMailSystem

Dear Maintainer,

Maybe i am missing something here:

I installed mailsystem and autoload. If not using HTMLMAIL (which works!) but DefaultMailSystem, will it not use the Drupal Default mailsystem and send out plain text messages?

I may case the system emails sent are plain empty.
