I filled out a textarea with "sdfa<sdfasdf" and when opening the PDF it ends right after "sdfa"
Probably other letters have the same effect?

Can you be more specific? Seems like your descriptions was also truncated ;)
Was a PDF generated, but there were some contents missing, or there were no PDF in the e-mail? Does webform2pdf converted "<" into any character?
