Hostinger

This documentation needs work. See "Help improve this page" in the sidebar.

Fixed, see #3454006: Test Project Browser on Hostinger.

At a minimum you need the following to be successful with Hostinger (not just for Project Browser, but your Drupal site in general):

  • A VPS (Virtual Private Server) plan that allows you to set the necessary file permissions for Drupal to operate.
  • SSH access, as Project Browser requires the Automatic Updates module, and Automatic Updates must be installed with Composer.

Although Hostinger offers "easy" Drupal installations through their Auto Installer tool, installing Drupal with their tool will prevent you from being able to use Project Browser.  Additionally, shared hosting plans (Cloud plans) do not allow you to set the correct file permissions, creating other issues with your site.
