Import files

File sources may use any of the following protocols:

• https:// — a remote file URL
• public:// — the site's public files directory
• private:// — the site's private files directory

Importing a single file

Map a file field to a column whose cells contain a single file source. The
importer copies the file into the site's file system and stores its file ID on the
field.

Importing multiple files

Use the values() or multiple() syntax to attach several
files to a multi-value field in a single cell. Separate paths with a
+ sign.

Each path is attached independently; the field receives a list of file references.
Any individual path that is not an allowed, readable source is skipped.
