Block

Go to site structure, block layout /admin/structure/block , to add the EK Jitsi block to the site. to place a block, search for "Jitsi video button" in the Place Block form interface.

There is not particular settings other than default Drupal block settings.

Once the block is installed, you can start video conference with 2 different options from the block:

1. Create a random room name by clicking on "Start new Meeting" button. This will open a new window with a video element interface. You can then click "Start" to launch a conference.
2. If you want to join an existing conference room, type the name into the block input field and click "join". This will open a new window with a video element interface. When you click "Start" you may connect to an existing room if any or create it with your previous input custom name.

To stop the connection to the room, simply click "Stop" button.

Within the conference window, from the user interface, you can edit or access directly few information:

• edit your name display;
• edit the room subject;
• set a password to the room;
• copy link to the room.
