Installation and basic configuration

The module does not define any hard dependencies and can be installed as any other Drupal contributed module.

To configure Smart Title, Smart Title UI submodule should be installed. Smart Title component can be enabled on the Administration » Configuration » Content authoring » Smart Title Settings page (/admin/config/content/smart-title) by any user with the permission Manage Smart Title configuration (administer smart title).

After Smart Title was enabled for a specific entity bundle, you can visit the Field UI form of that entity type and configure the Smart Title component per entity view mode.

Note that the UI module isn't needed for a production site and could be safely
disabled.
