Install and Setup of aggrid_diff for revisions / diff compare

Installation instructions (Alpha4+)

Step 1 - Enable aggrid_diff

Hopefully you know how to do this, otherwise how did you get this far? :)

Step 2 - Diff configuration

*These instructions assume you are already utilizing an ag-Grid field

Go to Configuration > Content Authoring > Diff

Select the "Fields" tab on the top

Find the aggrid field and select "ag-Grid Field Diff" from the dropdown. 

Step 3 - Create a new display view for your field and select the formatter type.

Click "Manage display" for your item with ag-Grid field.

At the bottom, go to "CUSTOM DISPLAY SETTINGS" and put a check next to "Revision comparison" and click "Save"

Now, select the "Revision comparison" sub-tab item

For ag-Grid item, select "HTML grid view mode" and click "Save"

Step 4 - Try a comparison

Hopefully, you already have a content item saved. Otherwise, do that... and edit with revision checked. Now, you should have some revisions to view.

Click the "Revisions" tab, select a few revisions to compare and click "Compare selected revisions"

NOTE: For this to work properly, please only use a max of 3 header rows. Also, only place an ag-Grid field item for ONLY the fields with actual data. As an example, if you have a top level header with a column span and 2-3 sub headers on the next header row, only use field names for the sub headers, not the top level header.
