The site map submitted to the search engines is only one, despite of the fact the module could generate one site map for each enabled language.

In the case a user said to the search engines the web site has more than one site map (one for each enabled languages), only one site map will be reported to be changed.

Adding tag. I must discover why I need a comment to add a tag some times and not other times.

That issue is important to us; unless kiam@ wants to take care of it, I will assign a developer to the project.

Actually, the bug is relevant only when each language uses a different domain; in the case it is used a different path prefix for each of the enabled languages, it's enough to select Add all the links to the default language sitemap in the settings page.

I set #465792: Submission of language-specific sitemaps as duplicate of this report.

Makes sense. Thank you !

In case I use Add all the links to the default language sitemap the URLs that are included in the sitemap are system paths (i.e. node/7) instead of "nice URLs" (i.e. about-us) which means the search engines will index the same content on two different URLs. Even worse, search engines usually do not index the same content on two different URLs.

This looks like a separate issue; for maximum visibility I'd open a new ticket.
