Sam Cohen, owner of New Media Solutions and a web strategist and Drupal consultant since 2005, has over 20 years of experience as a trainer and educator. Prior to becoming a Drupal consultant he spent a decade as a lecturer leading historic tours worldwide and he managed a training program for one of the world’s largest human rights organizations.

In the last seven years, Sam has built over 50 Drupal sites for nonprofits and businesses. Sam also started the Greater Philadelphia Drupal Meetup. His style of teaching is fun, non-technical and no-nonsense.

What people are saying:

“Sam Cohen is simply a superb Drupal teacher …. he intuitively understands his audience and guides them through what would otherwise be an intimidating learning curve.” -- Ben Ostrower, Principal and Creative Director of Wide Eye Creative

“Sam is not only technically expert; he’s truly interested in helping us become more informed, in understanding our content and in trying to help our projects reach their full creative potential.” -- Eileen Fisher, Director of Communications, Reconstructionist Rabbinical College

"Sam is a skilled teacher. He's patient, knowledgeable, and able to communicate complex material in a way that even non-techies can understand." -- Bonnie Lawrence, Manager, Communications, Coming of Age: Bay Area

"Sam Cohen is one of the most competent and reliable Drupal developers I have ever worked with. He is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that sites work the way they should. He is also incredibly knowledgeable about Drupal and can customize the code to do things that would not be possible by relying on modules alone." -- Judah Ferst, Chief Strategist, Ferst Solutions, and President, Buzzing for Change Foundation.

“Sam's instruction and coaching got me started to create useful, behind-the-scenes tools for Challah for Hunger, through our Drupal-based website. Although I'm still a beginner, Sam explained things patiently and clearly, so that I could learn how to do almost anything on our site, from adding different types of users to building views and more.” -- Eli Winkelman, Founder, Challah for Hunger
