Denaya Dennis (denayadennis)

Denaya Dennis is a South Sudanese passionate about digital education, peace and people’s development. He is a 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow at the University of Notre Dame. A graduate of IT, Denaya volunteers as a teaching assistant at the University of Juba, school of computing with majors in Business applications South Sudan.

Denaya is the founder of Koneta Hub, which is an innovation driven organization that uses the approaches of Human centered design in providing community driven solutions with emphasis on digital literacy and rights, business incubation, tech 4 peace and innovations in health and climate. He believes in the power of innovation as a vehicle to sustainable development.
Denaya has attended the 6 weeks Professional Development Experience (PDE) program with the Drupal Association as part of capacity building by the Mandela Washington Fellowship.

Denaya is a Cybersecurity trainer and fact-checker whose work is to fight misinformation and disinformation in the digital era.
