Simon Olympios (spiralarts)

I have over 20 years of experience in design and development in a wide variety of web and DTP projects. This includes creating logos, illustrations, brand identities and themes for websites. Over the last 8 years, my work has focused on user-centred web design and development, on various platforms for large-scale websites and applications. For each project, the client both expected and received the highest standard and quality of work.

I develop and maintain strong relationships with most people involved in a project, and am often responsible for presenting and illustrating proposed concept designs and ideas for approval. On a daily basis, I work closely with clients and internal departments on the end-to-end process of defining requirements, delivering wireframes, UX flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, design specifications and final assets. The close relationships I develop with clients and key stakeholders means that through regular communication, I ensure the implementation and delivery process is in line with the agreed requirements and specifications, and that the client’s voice is championed.

In my current role as lead UI/UX designer/developer, I have also been instrumental in setting the direction the organisation takes regarding the redesign of digital assets, by employing my extensive and up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and new trends in UX.
