Began programming my first professional Drupal site in spring of 2008, the week Drupal 6 was released. Joined High Rock Studios as Senior Web Developer and built many complex and feature rich Drupal 7 sites. I am now a Drupal Developer at ICF where I work on projects for and with the Executive Office of the President, ATF, Acquia, HHS, and more.
Before all of that, I graduated Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Composition, after which I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a lead-guitarist. Toured and recorded with Al Stewart, the Spencer Davis Group, Tommy Chong, among others, and worked in the studio as a tech for Madonna, Ringo Starr and KISS. Produced CD-ROMs for Apple Computer, Adobe, and the Smithsonian using QuickTime and Macromedia Director, and taught these skills at UCLA, the American Film Institute and in Europe at Apple School.
After producing Virtual Gettysburg, I returned to the East Coast where I founded the Antietam Battlefield Guides and authored the books Rare Images of Antietam (2012) and Shadowing Grant (2017). In my spare time I am collections manager at Boonsborough Museum of History and love taking historically themed day trips with my wonderful family.
I am the organizer of the Western Maryland User's Group.
