David Blakesley (david blakesley)

David Blakesley is the Robert S. Campbell Chair in Technical Communication and Professor of Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design at Clemson University. He is the publisher and founder of Parlor Press (https://www.parlorpress.com), now in its twenty-fourth year. His areas of research include rhetorical theory, digital and visual rhetorics, print and digital publishing, film theory and production, information design, technical communication, computers and writing, content management, and the digital humanities. He became an Adobe Education Leader in 2014. In 2016, he was named a Fellow by the Rhetoric Society of America (http://www.rhetoricsociety.org/aws/RSA/pt/sp/awards_fellows) and received the George Yoos Distinguished Service Award (http://www.rhetoricsociety.org/aws/RSA/pt/sp/awards_yoos). He has recently become a Drupal developer after all these years.
