Voting starts in March for the Drupal Association Board election.
Ed Sussman is the co-founder and CEO of Buzzr.com, in partnership with Lullabot, one of the world's leading Drupal consultancies. Buzzr is a hosted, streamlined drag-and drop Drupal solution targeted at small and medium sized organizations, including SaaS and PaaS options. The Buzzr Higher Education Edition is targeted specifically at smaller colleges and schools, such as http://PaulSmiths.edu and was created in partnership with mStoner, the national leader in websites and digital strategy for higher education institutions. Palo Alto University will launch later in 2014.
Our drag and drop interface makes Drupal easier to use. We make our platform available as a private label, hosted solution for multi-site use. e.g. designers or developers who wish to build sites with the platform for their clients, under their own brand name; or organizations that needs large numbers of similar websites and wish to use our Quickstart tool to instantly clone fully configured sample websites.
Before starting Buzzr with Lullabot in 2008, I was the president of Mansueto Digital, where I ran FastCompany.com and Inc.com. I was the guy who in 2006 decided to make FastCompany.com a Drupal site, in order to dramatically increase user engagement on a mainstream publishing site.
I was also Executive Vice President of Mansueto Ventures, running digital, business development and events for this $70 million company controlling the Fast Company and Inc. brands. I was a journalist for almost two decades. I graduated from Duke Law school, first in my class.
